I hope the term "greasy spoon" isn't taken the wrong way. I don't often get to eat at diners anymore and this fit the bill to a 'T'! Great pancakes, bacon & eggs. Stop in here for a bite while you're touring the market.

I love this place! I'll start by saying that this is a small establishment and you can easily walk right by it if you are not really looking for it. I was turned on to this place by a couple of the fruit vendors who let me know that many that work in the market eat there. That is always a good sign. I have been many times the food has always been excellent. I'm partial to the Dungeness Crab Benedict. I've compared it to many others in the market and this is my favorite. The staff is also very nice and the service is fast. If you are in the area and want a really good crab Benedict, then this is the place to eat. I highly recommend it.

Basic egg w/ cheese breakfast sandwiches [bacon, ham, sausage] on an English muffic are 3 and they serve drip coffee. If you're looking for a straight forward pike market menu I'd recommend this place.

Had a great lunch with terrific fries! The fish burger was very good, but the chicken tenders were practically BUTTER!! I have never had better tenders. Nice hole-in-the-wall. No frills, quiet little spot. Mid-range price for the area, great for a couple of people, a bit pricy for a family.

I hate eating in touristy spots coz they are not authentic n not catering to locals. Came across Market Diner, small place with maybe 10 tables. I ordered French toast with sausage n coffee. Coffee was typical diner coffee that I enjoy. French toast was awesome, light n fluffy. Side of sausage was brought to table 10mins before the French toast came so it was a lil cold. No biggie but why not bring it all together. Enjoyed my breakfast feeling satisfied. Good food, no wait and you don’t have to go thru 80 items to decide what u want like other touristy spots.

The halibut fish and chips LITERALLY changed my life and converted me into a pescatarian

Little spot in the middle of Pike Place market. Underrated clearly, given there was no line when we went there compared to all other restaurants in the area. Affordable prices, with perfectly cooked simple brunch items. We had the BLT & the french dip. Was perfectly made and affordable. The clam chowder was also great. It's a little hidden so they should update their description - it's actually inbetween Pike Plaza and 1st Ave.

A hidden gem, easily missed if you don't pay attention! Their clam chowder and kobe burger is my favorite, serves king crab legs and bunch other breakfast menus. Unlimited pancakes in the morning as well
